Last weekend, family and friends of the Zachary McMillian Foundation came together at the Houston Food Bank for our annual Zachary McMillian Day of Service, honoring Zachary the best way we know how — by serving others and giving back to our community.

Together, our group helped prepare 33 pallets, totaling 26,309 pounds of food and 21,924 meals for families across the Houston community.

We are incredibly grateful to every person who showed up, served, brought their family, wore their ZMF red, and helped us continue the spirit of generosity and service that Zachary embodied.

His life continues to make an impact through every person who chooses to serve in his honor. ❤️

Each year, on Zachary’s birthday weekend, we come together to do something that reflects his servant heart.

Join us this Sunday for the 3rd Annual Zachary McMillian Day of Service as we honor his memory, celebrate his life, and continue his legacy through service.

Visit the Houston Food Bank volunteer website and log in to your existing account or create a new one. From the shift calendar, select the September 20th, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM Warehouse Prep & Pack shift and complete your registration.

If prompted for a group name, please enter The Zachary McMillian Foundation.

Once registered, you should receive a confirmation email from the Houston Food Bank confirming your shift.
