What a day! Our ILECF members put in the work at NRG Stadium for the Houston Texans vs. San Francisco 49ers game, selling raffle tickets all day long as part of the Houston Texans Foundation 50/50 Jackpot fundraiser. The jackpot reached an incredible $162,261, with one lucky winner walking away with $81,130!

Our hardworking team sold $15,345 in raffle tickets, helping raise over $1,800 for ILECF to expand our community service efforts and continue making a positive impact. We were proud to be there supporting a great cause, giving our home team a little good luck (because they won!), and connecting with so many amazing fans throughout the day.

A special thank you goes to member Shalonda Baylor for coordinating this opportunity and to every member who showed up and showed out!

Be sure to look for our members at the November 9th home game and support our cause by purchasing your raffle tickets through an ILECF member, every ticket helps us keep serving the community!

We look forward to partnering with this incredible organization again, and we’ll definitely be back to cheer on our Texans! 💚❤️💙🏈

The Ivy League Education and Charities Foundation was proud to partner with the Evelyn Ware Math & Science Institute and the dynamic women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Xi Alpha Omega and Sigma Theta Chapters, for this powerful event on June 7th, 2025, at Houston Christian University. Incoming 5th–8th graders were immersed in hands-on STEM experiences that sparked curiosity and innovation. We were honored to be part of this initiative that empowers the next generation of STEM leaders.

Special thanks to Xi Alpha Omega Chairman Erica Brooks Paschall, Co-Chairman Kristi Morale, and every volunteer and committee member whose passion and dedication brought this vision to life. Together, we’re building brighter futures through education, opportunity, and community.

On May 17, 2025, the Ivy League Educational & Charities Foundation proudly hosted “A Salute to Scholars,” celebrating the incredible accomplishments of 27 deserving students.

We are thrilled to recognize our 2025 scholarship recipients. The future is undoubtedly brighter because of the impact you’re already making.

This celebration would not have been possible without the dedicated leadership of our Scholarship Chairmen, Angela Flenoy and Corey Morgan. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to student success.

We’re also deeply grateful to the ILECF Board of Directors, the Scholarship Committee, Foundation members, evaluators, and our generous in-kind partners for your continued support. Your collective efforts help us expand our reach and uplift the next generation of scholars.

In partnership with The Alpha Merit Group Educational Foundation and the Ivy League Educational and Charities Foundation, we were honored to celebrate Thanksgiving by honoring our Seniors of the 5th Ward Multi-Service Center with Thanksgiving Food Baskets at our Senior Soiree'. So excited we were able to share in the season of giving.

We are excited to launch our raffle fundraiser, ‘Cards for Cause’. The raffle will run now through December 17, 2024 at 6:00pm. Funds raised will support the Foundation’s programs and partnerships which bring about a positive impact to the Houston community.

Tickets are $10 each or ticket bundle of 5 for $40. Please see the flyer for all prizes. Entries can be purchased by scanning the OR code.
