Created by local artist and FIFA enthusiast **Betirri**, this vibrant new mural celebrates the energy, culture, and pride of the East End along with our community’s love for *“the beautiful game.”* 🌎⚽

This unique installation was specially designed on adhesive fabric to allow for a faster installation and minimal disruption to transit service while blending creativity with innovation right here in our neighborhood!

Come celebrate this exciting moment with neighbors, community partners, and supporters as we welcome a bold new piece of public art to the East End. 🎉

“The East End is the future of Houston.”

That message was front and center in Chron’s recent feature on the East End, where Houston leaders pointed to the area’s growing role in the city’s future through housing, infrastructure, investment, small businesses, green spaces, and public spaces.

Our East End District President Veronica Chapa-Gorczynski shared: growth is already visible across the area, from new development to neighborhood spaces that make the East End more livable for all.
