Paw & Order: Fighting Animal Cruelty in Texas

04/25/2026

This week was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. 💜🎾🐾 From the lives they save to the hope they bring, the impact of our honorees reaches far beyond what we see. 👏🏼

We were truly honored to recognize Friends For Life Animal Shelter as a 2026 Aces for Animals Honoree and celebrate the incredible work they do for animals in our community.

Their commitment to a no-kill philosophy and the care they provide to every animal who comes through their doors continues to make a lasting difference in our community.

Fiona, thank you for sharing the wonderful work your team is doing in our city and for the updates on your fosters. We truly appreciate everyone’s dedication and the positive impact you’re making on so many lives. 💜

What an incredible event! Today, we had the privilege of honoring some remarkable individuals who are doing wonderful work for animals in our community by presenting them with our Aces for Animals Grants.

We were excited to celebrate Three Little Pitties Rescue as one of our 2026 Aces for Animals Honorees.

Their tireless efforts rescuing dogs from high-risk situations and connecting them with caring homes are truly life-changing. 👏🏼

The impact they have across our community and beyond is truly inspiring. 💜

Alayna, your words today at our event genuinely touched our hearts. Thank you for the dedicated work you and your entire team do to improve animal welfare in our state! 👏🏼

It’s and the season of giving—and we’re celebrating the impact we’ve made together. 💜

Thanks to your support, we’ve helped animal rescues across Texas give hundreds of pets the second chances they deserve. 👏🏼

Because of your generosity, dogs are sleeping in warm beds instead of cold shelters. Kittens are getting the medical care they need. And rescue teams have the resources to keep doing the work that saves lives. 🐾

But we’re not done yet.

There are still animals waiting to be rescued, fed, and loved—and your donation can help make that happen. No amount is too small.

Let’s keep the momentum going this holiday season. Together, we can create even more happy endings. 👏🏼

We’re thrilled to have partnered with WHLTA and Houston Humane Society for the Sneakers & Sequins Spring Luncheon and Dog Fashion Show. 🐶💜 Thanks to your generosity, Paw and Order: F.A.C.T. awarded a $2,500 grant to help continue the lifesaving mission to end cruelty, abuse, and overpopulation of animals.
A huge round of ap-paws 👏🏼 to our fabulous fashion stars — Buddy, Amy, Daisy, Rue, Echo, Sideshow Bob, Vermicelli, Rocky, Glinda, and Susanna — for stealing the runway and our hearts!

Thank you for helping us raise funds, raise awareness, and raise hope — one rescue at a time.
