The Houston Space for Art and Culture

The Houston Space for Art and Culture The Houston Space is a start up non-profit art and culture organization dedicated to archiving all things Houston culture. Help us get the word out!

The Houston Space for Art and Culture is a charitable, online art space in Houston, Texas dedicated to the vibrant subversive art, music, and culture of the city. The Houston Space works to archive Houston public or street art, cultural destinations, and Houston local music. The Houston space is interested in growing to represent all arts in Houston, but will first focus on previously under resear

ched and documented artists and musicians. Including but not limited to: graffiti art, public sculpture, performance art, Houston rap, Houston punk and metal, Houston artisans and makers, and Houston cultural sites. Researching and supporting the underground art and culture of Houston is integral for the preservation of Houston’s cultural heritage. Houston has a long history of supporting the arts and local music and there is a need to celebrate and document the cultural production and people of the city.
