I hope each and every one of you are doing well. I have great news for those inquiring, HARCH will begin our education & networking meetings in the next coming months.

Please note that HARCH did not authorize and does not have any scheduled ALF or Personal Care Home classes for February 2024. Please contact me directly before registering or paying for classes using the HARCH name.

New LTC Expansion of Visitation Guidelines

HHSC has published an overview of new expansion of visitation guidelines for NF, ALF, ICF/IID, HCS providers, and inpatient hospices. New rules will be released on September 24, 2020.

Update: The COVID-19 Uninsured Program Portal is NOW open.

Providers who have conducted COVID-19 testing or provided treatment for uninsured individuals with a COVID-19 diagnosis on or after February 4, 2020 can begin the process to file claims for reimbursement for testing and treating the uninsured.

Providers can access the portal at coviduninsuredclaim.linkhealth.com

A new process is set up for ALFs and NFs to submit their request for Omnicare testing.

FDA advises consumers not to use any hand sanitizer manufactured by Eskbiochem SA de CV in Mexico, due to the potential presence of methanol (wood alcohol), a substance that can be toxic when absorbed through the skin or ingested. FDA has identified the following products manufactured by Eskbiochem:

· Esk Biochem Hand Sanitizer (NDC: 74589-007-01)
