God is faithful.

While all three are the goal, not everyone is in the same stage of life so our time with God looks differently. Even with ourselves, He may be calling us to spend time with Him in a new way/place/time.

Sow What You Want to See 🌳
The Word says we reap what we sow—not just in actions but in spirit. If we sow laziness or procrastination, we reap delay and disappointment. But if we sow discipline, faith, and obedience, we’ll see a harvest of purpose and fruitfulness. Don’t grow weary in doing good. Your due season is on the other side of your consistency. Keep sowing what aligns with the life you’re praying for and what God has called you to be doing in this season. He is faithful to fulfill His promises - but He needs you to be doing your part too.

Trust that when God is calling you to start something, He is well aware of what you have. His purposes and His glory are the why, so don’t try to figure it all out. Seek His instruction and step. He’s got you. As long as you continue to follow, His oil will not run out.

Our Story

Our founder, Nadia Guillory, started a group called A Seat at the Table in her home at her kitchen table with a few close friends and family. She felt the push to begin a journaling group for women of color, all ages, because she noticed that we needed a safe space to be able to express ourselves and share our experiences without judgement or being labeling as anything other than “me”. As the women gathered at the table stories were shared, tears were shed, strongholds broken, and a sisterhood formed among women that just understood each other. It was amazing how every meeting, no matter what the topics that she prepared were, there was always at least two women that shared similar experiences and were able to realize that they weren’t alone in them. “I am not my sister’s keeper, I am my sister,” by Iyanla Vanzant describes the dynamic of this powerful group of women perfectly and she is so excited to share and welcome all of you in!
