BANANA FOR SCALE

Good morning, pumpkin lovers! Did y'all hear something about 4:00 this morning? We didn't either! 🤣

It's the last weekend in October and our pumpkins took a little shower this morning and are ready to go home with loving families. Our volunteers are here from 9:00 - 6:00 today and tomorrow and are happy to help you achieve your pumpkin dreams.

Can't make it during those hours? FUGGEDABOUTIT, because we're the most antisocial pumpkin patch in the area - come whenever you'd like. Our signs in the yard have QR codes so you can pay via Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal.
..and on that note, Steven Jones, we don't know what you were doing at 2:30am Wednesday morning in our patch (we're taking bets tho) and buying pumpkins, but you do you friend - thanks for the business!

We have plenty of those cute little pumpkins left - pic for attention - and lots of big carvers left.

And hey - protip from your pumpkin people here: October's not the only month for pumpkins! Anyone ever heard of November? Thanksgiving? Pumpkin pie? Roasted pumpkin (it's a gourd btw)? Pumpkin seeds? C'mon fam... don't disappoint us.

We know there is a lot of excitement about what’s next for Scouts BSA, and we want to share a quick update on a few projects:

**The Scouts BSA Combined Troop Pilot has recently concluded its final participant survey. The feedback has been reviewed and is being presented to the National Executive Board in October. Once a final decision is made, we’ll share whether this option will become available to troops. IF APPROVED in October by the National Executive Board, co-ed troops will become one of three options, just like Cub Scouts. All-boy and all-girl troops will remain an option.

In the meantime, troops that are already in the combined pilot may remain in their current configuration until a final decision is announced. Please note that we are unable to add additional troops to the pilot at this time.

**On another exciting front, we’re putting final touches on two brand-new merit badges: Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Both badges were previously announced at the National Annual Meeting, and they will be officially rolled out on September 22nd. These new badges will give Scouts the chance to experience cutting-edge topics and explore careers in these dynamic fields.

Thanks to our church, scout, and community volunteers, we served 137 families comprising almost 500 persons meat, lemons, limes, cucumbers, potatoes, nectarines, spinach, and melons, and strawberries in just over 2 hours! Doing more together!
