🌟 Bootcamp 2026: A Celebration of Leadership, Sisterhood & Purpose! 🌟
The Barbara Jordan Houston Section of NCNW proudly celebrated its 4th Anniversary Women’s Leadership Retreat—Bootcamp 2026, and it was simply AMAZING!

More than 60 registrants gathered at the beautiful Houston City College Stafford Campus, creating an inspiring atmosphere of sisterhood, leadership, learning, and empowerment. The retreat welcomed NCNW national affiliate members representing a remarkable cross-section of women’s organizations, including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.; The Links, Incorporated; Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc.; Jack and Jill of America, Inc.; National Women of Achievement, Inc.; KPC Women’s Auxiliary; AME and CME Women; The Order of the Eastern Star; and others.

From delicious lunch and exciting door prizes to vendor shopping and expert-led presentations, Bootcamp 2026 provided a space for women to connect, learn, collaborate, and strengthen their leadership skills.

Participants engaged in four powerful areas of leadership:

Mission Control: Programming with Impact
Mission Possible: Membership with Purpose
Sisters in Formation: Sisterhood
Order in the Ranks: Parliamentary Procedure—Taking Care of Business

The impact of Bootcamp 2026 extended far beyond the event itself. It strengthened connections among women leaders and organizations, encouraged purposeful membership and programming, and reinforced the power of sisterhood, collaboration, and collective service.
👏🏽 Event Chair: Joyce Jacquet
👏🏽 Co-Chair: Mildred Robinson, President-Elect

💐 Committee: Velda Britt, Shanda Provost, Geneva Williams, Annette Joubert, and Bessie Fletcher

A heartfelt thank you to every presenter, participant, vendor, committee member, and supporter who helped make the 4th Anniversary Women’s Leadership Retreat—Bootcamp 2026 an extraordinary celebration.

When women come together with purpose, leadership grows, sisterhood strengthens, and communities are transformed. 💜✨
