I have every book that Mr. Jason D Mark has written. This is a shorted down version of “Into Oblivion” which was a very well done book.

"Grimm Fate" is now available on Amazon as a paperback or Kindle edition. It's easy to find on your country-specific Amazon site.
The book is based on "Into Oblivion". During the COVID lockdown, I decided to make a more accessible version of that title by stripping out a lot of the technical jargon and focusing on the personal struggles of the soldiers. This shifted it away from a unit history of Pi.Btl.305 to a more general account of a band of German soldiers embroiled in Eastern Front combat. All 100% factual. It shows the effect of battle not just on the soldiers, but also their families.
"Why should I buy this if I already have "Into Oblivion"?" Great question, anonymous reader. Firstly, you'll enjoy it as a standalone book. Secondly, we've all got friends, acquaintances, fathers-in-law, weird uncles, curious nephews that are kinda into military history, but would not normally buy one of our usual in-depth books. Well, "Grimm Fate" is for them. Buy them a copy for Christmas. If they liked "Band of Brothers", they'll probably enjoy this.
"Why did you decide to go with Amazon?" Another great question. I wanted this book to be easy to order, cheap to post, and to reach the widest possible audience. And using Amazon will sidestep all the tariff strife / postal troubles currently plaguing the world as the book will be printed and despatched from within your own country.
"Will this book be turned into a TV mini-series?" It should be as it would be perfect. Ten chapters, ten episodes. If someone has links to an entertainment big-wig, hook us up! ;-)
