At Olive Branch Muslim Family Services, our goal has never been to provide only temporary support. We want to walk alongside individuals and families as they build confidence, develop new skills, overcome barriers, and move toward long-term self-sufficiency.

Every day, we are seeing that vision become a reality.

More families are reaching out because they trust the quality, compassion, and dignity of the support they receive. But one of the most meaningful signs of impact is seeing former clients return not to ask for help, but to ask how they can help someone else.

Some refer friends and families in need. Others volunteer, share resources, or donate. The amount is not what matters. What matters is the transformation behind it: someone who once needed support now feels empowered to support another person.

That is the change we hope to create a community where receiving help can become the beginning of stability, independence, and giving back.

Every inquiry represents trust. Every family moving forward represents hope. And every person who comes back to help someone else reminds us that quality service can create an impact far beyond one individual.

We are grateful to our clients, partners, donors, volunteers, and community members who continue to believe in this mission.

Olive Branch Muslim Family Services was honored to meet with Her Excellency Sheikha Tamador Bint Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Consul General of the State of Qatar in Houston.

Olive Branch Managing Director Sanya Wafeq and Client Advocate Ghadah Bayati had the opportunity to discuss our work supporting vulnerable women and families and creating pathways toward long-term self-sufficiency through workforce development, healthcare certifications, employment-readiness training, and wraparound support.

We are sincerely grateful to the Consulate General of the State of Qatar for their generous support and for recognizing the importance of investing in women as they work toward financial stability, independence, and successful integration into their communities.

Partnerships like this strengthen our ability to provide meaningful opportunities to women who have faced significant barriers and help them move from immediate need toward lasting stability.
