FYP Houston is heading back to the Houston Food Bank for another hands-on volunteer day! We’ll be sorting, inspecting, and repackaging donated food to help ensure it reaches families in need across our community.

😲 It’s back! After a successful first-year, FYP Houston’s Mentorship Program is now back for its second year!

We’re inviting college students (or any student in higher education!) to apply for a chance to be connected with a mentor working in your career field of interest. We are also seeking mentors with at least two years of working experience to connect with our mentees.

Happy New Year, everyone! We're kicking off the year with one of our favorite volunteer events!

📍This is a last call to sign up as a volunteer for the Houston Chevron Marathon this Sunday 1/11. Tonight is the final night to register!

Yes, it’s early. Yes, it might be cold. But trust us, once the runners start coming through, we warm up fast by cheering, laughing, and having a great time together. There’s nothing like the energy of marathon morning.

One of the highlights every year is waving our Philippine flag 🇵🇭 and hearing the cheers when Filipino runners spot us in the crowd. It’s such a fun and proud moment that makes the early wake-up totally worth it.

What a day! We returned to join the 76th annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade, and even with the cold and windy start, it was an honor to represent our Filipino-American community alongside the Philippine Consulate General of Houston!

Today, we pause with full hearts and deep gratitude for the community that continues to uplift, inspire, and remind us why we do what we do. From our volunteers and sponsors to our performers, partners, families, and every single supporter who shows up for our mission -- THANK YOU.

As we gather with loved ones today, we’re reminded of how grateful we are for this growing, thriving family we’ve built together. Maraming salamat for being such a meaningful part of our journey.
