BullyWorld

BullyWorld Changing the World, four paws at a time! We are here to assist in ALL rescue efforts for ALL reputable & trusted rescues.

Right now, we're going to be a place where everyone can cross post bully breeds nationwide in need! We're also going to develop a list of reputable rescues across the nation so if you're an adopter and fall in love with a bully, you can reach out to a rescue for assistance! We'd also like to get a plan together to seek and acquire fosters nationwide to help us SAVE THE BULLIES! We have a blogger w

ho is documenting her foster experience from day one to give some insight into new fosters so they know what to expect, what happens, the joy & the pain! We also want to design and promote bully gear to raise money for projects such as BSL education and STOPPING BSL before it hits YOUR neighborhood! We'd also like to teach about bully love to the younger generation and PREVENT animal cruelty BEFORE it can begin! We're just a nation of bully lovers who want to change the world...four paws at a time!

A small rescue that needs a little help. Five dollars is greatly appreciated. ❤

Good Times Bully Rescue is a small rescue that would be tremendously grateful for your donations to help our rescue dogs. We strive to do the very best we can for all dogs in our program. Many of these dogs have special medical needs that go beyond the standard spay/neuter, worming, heart worm...

** Chubbs needs a home. Adopt if you can or share the info :)

Chubbs is 80 pounds of lovable and playful bulldog! He is estimated to be 1-2 years old, but he thinks that he is a 12 pound puppy. He loves to be around people, but also seems to like a quiet nap alone in his crate. He is an absolute sweetheart, with eyes that make you want to cuddle him and kiss t...

*** Raise some hell!!

This judge threw out most of the case against this couple that made "crush videos": he claims it is FREEDOM OF SPEECH. If you didn't know what are crush videos, they are videos made of women murdering puppies, kittens, rabbits, small animals by crushing them while wearing stiletto high heel shoes. Absolutely sickening.

A volunteer writes: Sampson is the kind of dog whose enthusiasm for life is infectious. He finds himself at the care center having been left behind by a roommate but his temporary owners tell us he got along with not only his 3 kids but his cats as well. We are also told he is friendly with strangers and indeed on his walk Sampson was a very affable fellow as we walked through the neighboorhood although he could use some leash training as he does pull. We are told that Sampson was kept out in the yard when home alone so he may need some housetraining lessons but he did have a clean kennel and eliminated on the street so he may be a quick study. His superb physical condition suggests that he was a housedog mostly and is used to the comforts of a home. Sampson's bubbly personality really shines once free to play in the backyard where he proves to be a great ball player and lover of toys! He runs through the yard with his adorable little ears flapping in the wind, all wiggly and waggly with a big silly grin on his face and toy in his mouth. The sun glistens off his golden coat and he gallops through the yard, strong yet silly. Sampson is neutered and ready to be your happy-go-lucky fetch partner today!

04/08/2013 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
helper dog # A0959638 Sampson pulled hard on the leash and was sociable, but distracted and more interested in the surroundings than the handler during the assessment. He was calm and relaxed during handling, but became easily over aroused during the Tag interaction, grabbing the leash in an aggressive manner, and did not calm down easily. He remained tense and anxious and was stress panting so assessor determined that skipping the rest of handling and moving on to resource guarding was the safest route to go. Sampson did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl, then took the toy and rawhide away but had soft body language. He was relaxed when approaching a friendly dog, but was not playful. Look: 1. Dog's eyes are averted, with tail wagging and ears back. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor's cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog's mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 3. Dog responds with his tail high, ears forward, mouth likely closed for at least half of the assessment item, body stiff and body checks the Assessor. Dog is often focused on other stimuli in the room. Food: 1. Dog calmly allows the food to be moved, follows the dish, but does not interfere with the dish's movement. Dog's body is soft and loose, eyes soft, tail neutral. He lifts his head when hand is pushed against his cheek. Toy: 1. Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. He does not place his body between you and the toy. Rawhide: 1. Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. He does not place his body between you and the rawhide. Dog-dog: 2. Dog approaches helper dog with tail at spine level, body not stiff, ears relaxed, lip long or neutral.

☆★ TO ADOPT THIS ANIMAL THROUGH THE PUBLIC ADOPTION SITE, PLEASE GO TO THE FOLLOWING LINK AND SCROLL DOWN TO BOTTOM TO LOG IN AND RESERVE THE ANIMAL. THERE WILL BE A $50 DEPOSIT REQUIRED. http://www.nycacc.org/PublicAtRisk.htm ☆★

For more information on adopting please read the following:

DO NOT call the shelter and say you are adopting unless you truly intend on physically going to the shelter to adopt the dog. It ties up phones lines and is a waste of the staff's time to explain the adoption procedure over the phone for someone who is purposely not going to show up. They need every free second of their time to answer calls, assist actual adopters, process intakes, and care for the animals. More importantly, they will note the dog’s file that an adopter is en route which will prevent an actual adopter from saving the dog. This is considered a "fake adoption" hold and that is how dogs fall through the cracks and end up being killed.

For more information on a particular dog, email [email protected] but ONLY if serious about adopting, and ONLY if you are able to GO TO the shelter in-person. Please do not email for status updates... the only thing you will accomplish is spamming their in boxes and causing REAL adopter emails to go unnoticed. Contact the NYC ACC at (212) 788-4000 for further automated instructions.
