After two mistrials resulting from hung juries, the appellant was convicted of capital murder in the third trial. One of the main differences between appellant’s third trial and the prior two trials was blood and DNA evidence discovered by Officer Celestina Rossi. Appellant filed a motion for a new trial and requested a hearing, arguing that the State failed to provide him with Brady information. Specifically, appellant argued the State failed to provide him with a complaint filed with the Texas Forensic Science Commission accusing Rossi of planting blood.

"The trial court’s court coordinator shall set a hearing date and notify the parties of the date and time of the hearing."

Who invented the medical monitoring in your smart devices?
Black owned ViQUAL. It embarked on a promising journey to develop a remote patient monitoring system in collaboration with Kaiser Permanente. Under the protection of a NDA, they poured their heart and soul into creating valuable IP, including trade secrets and patents.
However, instead of honoring their initial agreement, Kaiser chose to leverage ViQUAL/Better Life’s IP in collaboration with Cognizant and other multinational companies. They took groundbreaking advancements into healthcare systems worldwide, significantly improving patient care.
Black owned,ViQUAL Medical and Better Life were owed over $500 million for their contributions. Yet, received nothing. Their tireless efforts went unrecognized, and they were left out in the cold without any financial compensation.
George McKinney, Jr.’s quest for justice became a harrowing saga filled with legal battles and corporate misconduct by Kaiser Permanente. Including their lawyers switching teams and working for Kaiser after learning everything they could from McKinney to help Kaiser defeat him. As a result, in early 2024, ViQUAL Medical faced a devastating court ruling that ignored crucial evidence. This forced McKinney and his companies into a grueling appeal, their hopes for justice hanging by a thread.
