PACK News: Bob Hall Pier - Saturday 21st
Saturday is NOT going to work. Weather and mainly conditions are not good. How this works going forward is I will continue to bring the updates until I find a good window that is safe for everyone to go out in. This means that the outing can be on a weekday or weekend. I will post a new update on Sunday. Have a great weekend!

PACK News: Yarborough Pass - Nov 2025
The dates for this event are in November but I put the wrong weekend. Hopefully this doesn't mess with anyone's schedule but the actual date is the next weekend from what I had it as. The actual dates are Sat. Nov. 22 - Mon. Nov 24. I, personally, will arrive that Friday evening and spend the night, then ready to fish that Saturday morning. We will fish half a day on Monday and then pack up and head back to our perspective homes. Some may leave on Sunday. This was the intension all along. My apologies on placing the wrong dates.

PACK News: Show & Tell for meeting
You are encouraged to bring along any items for Show & Tell to tonights meeting, June 17.

Anything that you have found beneficial or useful for your fishing, kayaking or outings, whether this is a fishing lure, equipment, clothing or kayak/gear modifications - bring it along and share!!

I plan to bring along the small fan that I used each night at the recent Rahal camping weekend. It was warm out there and each night the winds would die down and I found that the fan added a nice bit of breeze in the tent. If you also have a fan, bring it along, we can see a variety! They are a good addition to summer activities.

PACK News: ***TOMORROW*** Deep Water Re-Entry Class
Tomorrow is the deep water re-entry class at Lake Somerville. Details are listed on the PACK event page. The weather is going to be AWESOME!! Winds will be at 4 - 5 mph. We will launch at 7:00 am and get off around 12:00 noon. This will be a great time to learn different methods on how to re-enter your kayak or to help others with multiple methods of how to re-enter the kayak. The bait store on where you pay to launch doesn't open until 8:00 am, but you can pay when you get off of the water (I spoke to the bait shop on that).

There is a cap on how many can sign up for this event and we are half full right now. You can mow your lawn or come out and learn something new (or refresh your skills). Hitting the water sounds so much better to me than mowing your lawn, lol. Be sure to enroll for this event on the event page. Cya tomorrow!
