And just like that it’s almost a week since most of our club members got together for a Valentine’s dinner. This was a time we used to celebrate friendship and embrace new projects and activities to continue helping our community.

A member of the club took advantage of the oficial visit to the Academy to encourage some of the kids to go to school and be part of the raffle to win one of the bicycles.

Last Friday some of the members from the WHK Rotaract club visited Cravens Early Childhood Academy to make oficial the donation of 2 bicycles as prize for their best attendance raffle. This raffle is scheduled for December and it’s a program to increase students’s assistance.
As Rotaract club our main goal is to give back to our community, and partnering with Cravens Academy ensure that opportunity.
Cravens Academy has different programs to help their students and their families, such as best attendance, food drive and collection of donation for Christmas presents for the kids.

The West Houston Katy Rotaract club is very proud to be part of those programs throughout the years. The club is also thankful for all donations and sponsors who help the continuity of such programs.

Just few weeks ago we had the privilege to start a new Rotarian year and we couldn’t have done it without having our board members installation.
Congratulations to our president Roberto Martinez, to all our board members and directors.
Now off to a great year 2023-2024 🎉

We close our Rotarian year 2022-2023 with one of our biggest fundraisers in collaboration with Run in Texas foundation and the 5k Katy.
Thank you to all our members who were present at the water station to make this event possible!

Big shout out to our West Houston/Katy Rotaract volunteers for serving up ice cold water and some of the finest hand mixed Gatorade to be found in the Katy area at the No Label Brewing 1st Street 5K Beer Run! Also a big shout to ALL of our volunteers. We couldn't pull it off without y'all! Stay tuned for more pics to be uploaded on our FB page in various 1st Street 5K albums.
