REVELS SPRING CLEANING GARAGE SALE

Spring is here, bringing with it a wonderful opportunity to refresh, declutter, and make a meaningful impact! Our Spring Cleaning Garage Sale benefitting Revels Houston will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 5604 Evergreen St, Bellaire (as part of the Bellaire City-Wide Garage Sale) from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.

Every contribution will directly support Revels Houston’s mission to celebrate the rich song, dance, music, and storytelling traditions of diverse cultures through our performances. There are three ways you can contribute:

Between now and Wednesday, April 22: Donate gently used items in good condition that deserve a second chance to bring joy (please note: we are unable to accept donations of clothing, furniture, or large appliances).

Saturday April 25: Stop by 5604 Evergreen St, Bellaire, TX between 8am and noon to purchase all those treasures you didn't know you needed until now.

The 2025 Christmas Revels Opens this Friday Evening!
Reserve your Spot for the 32nd Christmas Revels!

Join Us for a Night of Joy and Tradition!

December 19 - 21, 2025

Join our bonnie lads and lasses in this year's Christmas Revels, A Scottish Celebration of the Winter Solstice. We will be transported back to eighteenth-century Scotland, to a rural hamlet in the country's northwestern Highlands. There, we join the villagers as they begin their annual celebration of Hogmanay, the Scottish New Year with songs, dances, a bit of Robbie Burns poetry, and folk tales including a Guisers' (Mummers') Play, in which the legendary Scottish warrior-hero, Galoshens, battles the evil Black Knight!

There will be five performances of this family-oriented, musical holiday treat, December 19-21, 2025, at The Midtown Arts and Theater Center Houston (The MATCH), 3400 Main Street (at Holman), Houston, Texas 77002.

$36 Adults | $18 Children 12 and under

Villagers in 18th century Scotland celebrate their most important Winter festival, Hogmanay (New Year's) with traditional ballads, Christmas hymns, children's game-songs, lively jigs, reels and bagpipe tunes, Auld Lang Syne, and the Winter Solstice Guisers' Play, in which the Scottish warrior-hero, Galoshens, battles the evil Black Knight.

Revels Houston looking to add a few more men (singers) to this year's Christmas Revels Chorus!

Revels Houston invites gentlemen who enjoy singing well to join the chorus of the Christmas Revels production of "A Scottish Celebration of the Winter Solstice" to be performed December 19 - 21, 2025. We have a superb chorus in place but are short on male voices.

Adult rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and approximately one Saturday a month from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

If you are interested in joining us this year, we invite you to come to a rehearsal on September 29 or October 6 as follows:

Revels Houston presents The Christmas Revels: A Scottish Celebration of the Winter Solstice. We are searching for singers to try out to be members of both the adult and children's choruses for its 32nd Christmas Revels Winter Solstice production.
Please come prepared to sing alone and with a mixed group, but formal voice training is not a requirement. Ability to read music is a plus.
