Gratitude…Gratefulness

Dear Max Velocity Family,

After 22 incredible years with AAU and USATF track and field as Head Coach serving the Cypress community—and 17 of those years as Founder and CEO of Max Velocity Elite Track and Field Club—the time has come for me to step into a new chapter of my life. This means MVTC Orange and Black will be stepping away from the track after 17 wonderful years filled with unforgettable memories.

What began as a simple vision—to give young athletes in our community a place to grow through the sport of track and field—has become something far greater than I ever imagined. Together, we didn’t just build a track club; we built a staple in the community for nearly two decades—one that has impacted countless athletes and their families.

To our athletes: thank you for your dedication, your discipline, and your heart. Watching you push past limits, chase your goals, and celebrate your victories has brought me endless pride and joy. Over the years, we’ve coached countless youths in the Cy-Fair area who have gone on to do remarkable things in their adult lives—both athletically and professionally. Our battle cry has always been

It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to witness your growth—not only as athletes, but as leaders, students, and outstanding individuals.

To the parents and families: thank you for trusting me with your children and for standing beside this program with unwavering support throughout the years.

To our coaches, volunteers, and supporters: your commitment, sacrifice, and belief in our mission are the true foundation of Max Velocity. None of this would have been possible without you.

I will always carry the memories, relationships, and pride that come with being part of this extraordinary community.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journeys. Max Velocity will forever hold a special place in my heart—and I hope it does in yours as well.
