Join Houston's internationally award winning young professional organization dedicated to providing leadership development opportunities through service to humanity! The Houston International Jaycee's goal is to help young professionals between the ages of 18 and 41 develop and prepare them to undertake social responsibility by serving the community. We help members develop personal and leadership

skills and give them the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections. Service to the community allows members to acquire knowledge and skills, using them to enhance the human character and strengthen our community. HIJ consists of young professionals from various professions such as banking, engineering, law, wealth management, information technology, education, and small business. HIJ is a well-recognized organization within the Houston Community delivering year round programs and services that benefit the diverse communities of Houston. HIJ was first formed in 1986 by a group of young Chinese/Taiwanese- American entrepreneurs and was called the Houston Asian Junior Chamber of Commerce (HAJCC). Jaycees”) and the Texas Junior Chamber (“TX Jaycees”). In 2001, HAJCC was readmitted into the Jaycees fold after an extensive and successful effort to recruit a new generation of young professionals. In 2018, the chapter voted to change the name to Houston International Jaycees to reflect the its inclusiveness and the different cultures within the chapter and within Houston itself. With nearly 200,000 members worldwide part of JCI (Junior Chamber International), we are an international organization of young active citizens who aim to Be Better.

⚾ What an amazing evening! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Houston International Jaycees General Meeting & Mixer at Home Run Dugout!

It was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new friends, and kick off the new Jaycee year together. Whether you came to swing a bat, network, or simply enjoy great conversations, we hope you had as much fun as we did!

As the newly elected President, I'm incredibly excited about what's ahead. Our Board of Directors is already working on many meaningful and fun events for our members and the community, including:

⚾ Houston International Jaycees July Mixer & General Meeting 🎉

Come celebrate the beginning of a new Jaycee year with us!

Whether you’re a longtime HIJ member, a new member, or simply someone looking to meet new people and learn more about the Houston International Jaycees, we’d love to have you join us for our first official event hosted by our new President and the Board!

📅 Date: Tuesday, July 7
🕡 Time: 6:30 PM
📍 Location: Home Run Dugout – Katy
1220 Grand W Blvd, Katy, TX 77449

We’ll be holding a brief General Meeting followed by a fun social mixer. Whether you want to step up to the plate and play, or just relax, chat, and make new friends, you’re more than welcome!

🎉 HIJ will sponsor the cost of TWO batting bays for everyone to enjoy together. Please note that food, drinks, and any other personal expenses are not included.

👥 Everyone is welcome! Members, friends, family, and anyone interested in learning more about HIJ are invited.

JCI USA’s Trainings Task Force is excited to offer a virtual series of foundational JCI courses led by one of JCI USA’s Trainers, Bobbie Jo Call.

Whether you are newer to JCI, looking to better understand the organization, or preparing to grow as a trainer and leader, these courses are a great opportunity to strengthen your foundation and continue your JCI journey.
