Houston is home to the first project in Texas to attempt the Living Building Challenge; this program has only been achieved by 4 other spaces in the World. The project is a 1,120 SF classroom studio for The Monarch School in Spring Branch, which is a school for children with neurological differences. The Living Building Challenge is the most innovative building program in the world, it attempts to strike the ultimate balance between human-based and nature-based environments.
