Caring for and healing the hearts, bodies and minds of Boston Terriers in need, whether from neglect, abandonment or abuse until they are ready for their forever homes. Our goal is be an additional resource for the Boston rescues already in existence and work hand in hand with them towards the same common goals, putting the best interest of the dogs first and foremost. Lots of outpouring of love for Mocha and Latte! Mocha's right leg will be removed next week and we have found a possibility of a matching grant for money we raise specifically for her surgery. Any amount helps us get closer to our goal.

💔 Two little survivors… and now we’re preparing for their next chapter. 💔

Mocha and Latte were found on the streets Sunday — scared, struggling, and clinging to each other for comfort. They survived because they stayed together, and their bond is something truly special.

Last night, your love came in so fast that the wishlist looked “empty,” and many thought the link wasn’t working. It was working …you were just that generous.💖
We have now added more items to their wishlist, and we’re asking our tribe to please continue helping us care for these girls. Every single item makes a difference.

💙 Mocha
Paralyzed in her back legs with one “frozen” limb that will need to be removed for her comfort and mobility. She still scoots herself over for affection. She still chooses love.

🤍 Latte
Mostly blind, gentle, and completely devoted to Mocha. She follows her everywhere — Mocha is her guide, her anchor, her safety.

✨ We are officially beginning the process of finding a foster home willing to take BOTH girls together once they are medically ready.

Prince Adam Dumpling had an AMAZING appointment at the dermatologist today!🎉🎉

MOST ALL of the bacterial infection is GONE!

It is suspected that he does have an autoimmune disease called PF. The diagnosis will require a biopsy and then can be treated well!

So he had a lovely ride home….resting and his first pup cup!

The pairs just keep coming in. These two though will need all the help we can give them. They were found on the streets on Sunday. I admire the ACO for picking them up so quickly. I'm not sure they would have survived long on their own.

Mocha, the blue and white female, has a spinal issue that has caused her back legs to be pretty much paralyzed. The decision was made today to remove the "frozen" leg in the hopes that removing that weight/positioning will give her more mobility. She drags herself around and will drag herself to you for loving! We have added a wheelchair to her wishlist to try to get her acclimated to it before the leg removal so she gets used to the feel of it.

Latte, the cream color female, is also the sweetest girl but she is mostly blind. Perfectly healthy otherwise but appears very bonded to Mocha, who essentially is her guide dog.

Both of these girls will need to be medically cleared and all vetting completed before we can think about a home. If your heart is telling you that your home might be a good place for them, please reach out to us.

These sweet 9‑year‑old siblings just lost their home and are coming into South Texas Boston Terrier Rescue together. They’ve spent their whole lives side by side, and we’re determined to make sure their next chapter is filled with comfort, love, and stability.

🏥 They’re also in need of vet care, which we’ll address once they’re settled into their foster home. Until then, we’d love your help getting them set up with cozy beds, soft blankets, and senior‑friendly supplies to make them feel safe and loved.

Some dogs don’t just need a foster…
they need someone willing to love them through their final chapter. 🐾💔

We’re getting more and more seniors surrenders 14 years old and up, many with medical issues, mobility struggles, or cognitive decline. These sweet, deserving souls may never be adoptable… but they still deserve comfort, dignity, and love. 💛

Every week we get requests for seniors who have nowhere to go.
We want to say yes to every one of them… but we can only do that if someone opens their heart and home. 🏡🐾

It takes a special kind of person to open their home knowing their heart may break💔someone who chooses compassion over convenience, love over fear, and comfort over time. 🌟

These dogs don’t need much.
A soft bed. Gentle hands. A quiet place to rest. Someone who will be there until the end. 🛏️🤍

We’re now looking for hospice‑type foster applicants to add to our foster team, people willing to be that safe place for a senior who has nowhere else to go. 🐶✨

💙🐾 Magnum — The Boy Who Just Wants to Belong 🐾💙

Some dogs come into rescue with a spark you can feel the moment you meet them… and Magnum is one of those souls ✨💛
Fostered in Houston, Texas, this gentle five‑year‑old boy is still waiting so patiently for someone to see him 🥺🤍

Magnum is the kind of dog who loves with his whole heart. He’s a true snuggle bug 🤎🐶 — the kind who melts into you like he’s finally home. He’s the best little wingman, always ready to ride along, sit beside you while you work, or curl up quietly just to be near 🚗💤

He’s neutered, has started his heartworm treatment, and he’s doing beautifully 🌿💚
He’s good with other dogs, and he’s learning to be good with cats too 🐈trying so hard to understand the world around him 🐾🐱

He doesn’t really know how to play yet… but he watches, he tries, and he opens up a little more every day. There’s something so tender about a dog discovering joy for the first time 🥹✨

🐶 The Rule of Three: For Dogs and Humans 💛

Adopting a rescue dog is a beautiful journey, but it takes time for everyone to adjust. The “Rule of Three” isn’t just for the dog 🐕 it’s for the humans too.

✨ When you welcome a new dog, give both of you space to settle and decompress. It’s completely normal for your new friend to feel unsure or overwhelmed at first. With patience and love, they’ll start to relax, learn your routine, and slowly feel at home.

💬 Many rescue dogs have been through instability, and when they’re moved again too quickly it can create confusion and anxiety. They need consistency, understanding, and someone willing to guide them through the adjustment period. They depend on us to help them feel safe.

💖 Every dog deserves the chance to adjust and bloom. If you’re someone who enjoys working through the bumps, offering reassurance, and letting a dog grow at their own pace, rescue can be an incredibly rewarding experience. If you prefer a dog who’s already fully adjusted and predictable, that’s okay too. It simply means a rescue pup may not be the best match for your lifestyle.

🐾 Let’s give them grace, patience, and love because it doesn’t happen overnight.
