The weekend is approaching and you've been going 100 miles a minute. You barely made time to pause and actually read what's written in this post as well as the other 20 that caught your attention as you scrolled through your feed.

March is a little more than a week away and time appears as if it's never going to slow down. But you can take charge of the moment you have at this moment. You've accomplished so much in the past two months. Pat yourself on the back. Yes,

Pause.
Be still in solitude.
Be present in your reflection.
Feel your pulse.
Petition your thoughts to Him. Because your prayers are what prompts peace to be your guard. (Phil 4:6-7)

Yet involves a moment in time that is still ongoing. But even in the "still", are you taking a moment to access and process why it hasn't come into fruition? Could it that you haven't stopped long enough to see what it is you need to accomplish the desired task at hand? Yet involves a process that must be able to handle the pressure, but if not careful, we can miss the provision already given to move forward. Just because we don't obtain what we are seeking right away doesn't mean progress isn't taking place. There is work going on in the background but are you willing to stay focused on what is present before you?

CALLED to COME// A strong inclination to approach, arrive and establish what is summoned.

This journal entry was more than just a reminder and expression of gratitude. It's a reminder for you to remember that He called you to be.

Callings are special. But so are you.

For having a moment to encourage another generation to embrace their flaws and understand why they are important in order to flourish.

Moments like this keeps me grounded in my why.

This is all smiles now but an hour ago, my nephew was crying in my arms. At five, most people would just brush him off and say stop crying and be a big boy. But instead, I encouraged him to cry. We talked through why he was upset and crying. We allayed our fears and built up confidence to talk through our feelings. We challenged the lies he believed about being alone and spoke truth about what the reality of the matter is. No one is leaving him. Everyone loves him and it's ok to tell someone he trusts how he feels.

I'm glad he trusted me in that moment to talk through his tears. Regardless of age, we have to encourage our boys to work through their thoughts and feelings in a healthy and safe space. Holding the grief of feelings inwardly causes us to carry unnecessary burdens that were never meant to be our loads to carry. Now, every 30 minutes or so, he looks up at me and asks me for a kiss or a hug.

Safety. Protection. Comfort. Peace. Things the Holy Spirit gives and offers us daily. This is what I'm thankful for.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The key word to hone in for this text is the personal possession of "he."

He shall...
His fruit...
His season....
He doeth.....

So be planted.
Bring forth.
Don't wither.
Prosper.

10 days. 3 cities.

This is the face of reflective exhaustion. But to share meaningful moments of equipping others to be effective technical writers and investigators of manufacturing errors; being in the presence of the Lord to hear a right now message that motivated me to come alive and go forth with my sisters and fly home as a surprise to witness my father deliver his first sermon along with having a few moments with my brother(s), sister in love, and nieces/nephews over food- priceless.

I wouldn't trade these moments for the 🌎. Neither should you. Keep your purpose in perspective and let you destiny guide your intentions.

At the core of every decision is a clear and concise plan that has calculated the costs needed to execute.

In my current read 'It's About Time: The Art of Choosing the Meaning over the Urgent' by , she discusses how we have become indebted to time and just like we have to crawl out of financial debt, we must also evaluate our time in the same way. Making hasty decisions without planning is what likely causes us to lose time that we can't ever get back. Important and meaningful things in our lives often requires in depth thinking, which if we're honest, our "busyness" causes us to push it off until later, and later soon turns into an expensive act with minimal thought.

I encourage you today to take a moment and evaluate your current plans in progress. Are they meaningful and impactful to your overall purpose? Or are they matters that appear to urgent but really add no value to your bottom line? Time is more than money, it's also life. Your life is being spent on something that takes time. Make it timeless.
