We are doing our back to school event on August 15, 2026 at Haviland Park in Houston’s SW area.

We are accepting school supplies, clear backpacks , uniforms ( can be used we will put everything in the cleaners), and food donations.

We are also doing our community feeding for August the same day as the Giveaway..

It will be hurricane season and the date can change depending on the weather.

Since we are beginning our bake sale fundraisers for our Veterans I will keep getting better making cookies.
I stay in the kitchen after work nowadays.

We have set back on our Veterans Honor Gala for 2 years. We will move forward this year WITH OR WITHOUT HELP.

We will announce soon where our first fundraising bake sale will be held.
Rather you eat sweets or not we accept food and monetary donations ..

The bodies of two soldiers that went missing in Morocco earlier this month have been recovered .

Spc. Mariyah Collington, 19, and 1st Lt. Kendrick Lamont Key Jr., 27, disappeared May 2 in waters off Morocco’s southern coast, near the Cap Draa Training Area.

Key’s body was recovered May 9, while Collington’s body was recovered Tuesday in a coastal cave about 500 meters from where the two went into the water.

Both Key and Collington were in Morocco taking part in a training exercise known as African Lion.

Please send prayers to their families .

No woman in Houston should walk out her house UNPROTECTED.
I don’t care if it is spray only women have to stay in the here and now.

If attacking women is a trend-WOMEN HAVE TO GO BEYOND.

This Saturday we will be volunteering calling out numbers for Bingo at the church event.

We are grateful to have been accepted as a volunteer. We are excited for the day already..

For a very special friend’s daughter I will bake.. What we do is fill the gaps when our children asks for simple things ..

I will make two cakes and cookies later..

My husband: I guess you don’t get tired like the rest of us.

I can’t sleep because I am ready.
So, I am baking prepping myself to begin weekly bake sales.
I am raising money for a Veteran’s Honor Gala..

I am starting in June and will include vendors….
Working nonstop to make it happen without asking..

I want to share this flyer..

Mothers are reminded that a diaper distribution event will take place this Wednesday, May 13, 2026, between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

To avoid disappointment, please arrive early, as items will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Vendors will be there with addition giveaways .
Diapers will be available in sizes newborn to 8, including pull-up sizes small/medium.

We will have additional donations to be offered.
Once items are depleted, they will no longer be available.
