May her memory be a blessing.

The legendary Dolly Parton has died at 80. In addition to being a cultural and personal inspiration to millions, she was known for her generosity and philanthropy. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library mails free books to kids every month, and inspired PJ Library, which helped grow into a thriving national program delivering Jewish books to families for over 20 years.

Thank you, Dolly, for inspiring generations of young readers.

Register now for the unique opportunity to study with Israeli photographer and BAMAH Visiting Artist Ephraim Wasse at Southern University this Fall.This university-level photography course is offered tuition-free to community members, supported by a grant from our Local Impact Fund. Whether you're an artist, educator, or simply curious about photography, this is an opportunity to learn alongside TSU students in a creative studio environment. Email [email protected] to register. We're thrilled that our National Young Leadership (NYL) Cabinet is growing. This month we welcomed five new members -- Joshua Bernard, Jennifer Davidoff, Jamie Davis, Melissa Fritts, and Brian Redick. Houstonian Orel Shoham was also promoted to serve as Public Affairs Vice-Chair on the National Cabinet Executive Team. Bamberger will serve as Houston Chair for the second year for the 2026/2027 term.
