The first of its kind, this innovative program provides a unique view into the world of Texan and French contemporary art with an opportunity for the audience to meet the artists and be involved in the cultural exchanges. Go West is a dream of artistic capitals, Houston and Paris, defined by their passion for culture and united in a common artistic project. Go West, selected by UNESCO for the “201

0: International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures,” provides a venue and means for 64 French and Texan artists (painters, photographers, sculptors, video artists) to document and tell their stories through a long-term dialogue and contemporary art in exhibits both in Texas and France.
