It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a deeply cherished member of The Women’s Home family, Thomas Vance McMahan.

Tom was a longtime supporter, former board member, and distinguished Houston attorney who dedicated his life and legal talents to uplifting our community.

Fellow board members remember his brilliant stewardship, “He attended every meeting for years and read all the reports. He could spot something that needed changing immediately. His ability led to our success with many projects.”

Without his dedication, the spaces where hundreds of women and families now reclaim their lives with dignity would not exist.

May he Rest In Peace.
