Through our many programs and outreach services, Family Houston builds stronger families by teaching the life skills necessary to face financial, health, relationship and other critical challenges.

We’re pleased to welcome Elaine Castillo, LPC Associate, to Family Houston’s Mental Health Counseling team! Elaine provides therapy for children, teens and adults, with experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities.

Her approach draws from evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT and CPT, helping clients navigate challenges, process difficult experiences and develop healthier ways to cope, heal and move forward.

Elaine strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood and accepted. She believes meaningful progress begins with trust, compassion and meeting each person where they are.
