63 Years Later, We March On. ✊🏾
Pure Justice was honored to travel from Houston to Washington, D.C., alongside fellow Houstonians and advocates from across the country for the 63rd March on Washington.
Sixty-three years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and countless courageous leaders and everyday people stood together in the nation’s capital, calling America to live up to its promise of justice, equality, and democracy. Today, we carry that legacy forward, not simply by remembering where we’ve been, but by continuing the work that remains.
This journey was more than a march. It was a powerful and rewarding experience, a reminder that democracy requires our participation, our courage, and our collective voice.
We are deeply grateful to our Pure Justice team, supporters, fellow Houstonians, and every person who traveled alongside us to stand, march, and advocate on behalf of democracy.
