Our September Social Hour at the Four Seasons Hotel Houston was a great evening of connection, bringing together a wonderful mix of WISE Houston members and potential new members! 💙

Before Social Hour, member Zanetta Jones led our latest Peer Mentoring Group session, “Your AI Playbook,” sharing practical ways to use AI to work smarter, create leverage, and navigate our day-to-day work. Attendees even walked away with a digital AI Playbook filled with prompts they can put to work right away! 👏

A huge thank you to Zanetta Michelle for sharing her knowledge and to everyone who joined us for an evening of learning, networking, and community!

We’re excited for our next social hour on October 7 back at the Four Seasons! 🍸

Celebrating three women whose leadership, influence, and commitment to their communities continue to inspire. 💫

Our 2023 Women of Inspiration honorees have each forged their own path while creating opportunities, opening doors, and making a lasting impact in Houston and beyond.

⭐ June Deadrick has built a remarkable career in government affairs and civic leadership while dedicating herself to service across Houston. A longtime community leader, June has lent her expertise to numerous civic, arts, education, and sports organizations—and made history as the first African American woman to chair a postseason collegiate bowl game. Her leadership continues to create meaningful impact throughout our city.

✨ Jennifer Davenport is an award-winning marketing executive whose career has spanned some of Houston’s most recognized sports, entertainment, and arts organizations. From the Houston Texans and Houston Rockets to iHeartMedia and Houston Grand Opera, Jennifer has built a career around innovative storytelling and unforgettable experiences. As a founding board member of WISE Houston, she also helped lay the foundation for the community we’re celebrating 10 years later.

🎾 Zina Garrison turned a childhood love of tennis in Houston into an extraordinary career on the world stage—reaching No. 4 in the world, becoming an Olympic Gold Medalist, and winning three Grand Slam titles. Yet some of her greatest impact has come off the court. Through the Zina Garrison Academy, she has spent decades using tennis to empower Houston youth, while her mentorship has helped pave the way for generations of athletes who followed.

Today, we celebrate June, Jennifer, and Zina—three trailblazers whose impact reaches far beyond their individual accomplishments and whose leadership continues to inspire the next generation of women. 💜
