Imagine the shot: a vehicle enters the tunnel as landscaped parkland stretches overhead, creating a setting that feels both urban and unexpected.

The Memorial Park Land Bridge spans Memorial Drive and connects the northern and southern sections of the park, creating a distinctive piece of infrastructure surrounded by one of Houston’s most recognizable green spaces.

For productions, it offers a modern tunnel, dramatic roadway perspectives and natural surroundings—all within the city.

One location. A lot of possibilities.

With its expansive interiors, contemporary architecture and large-scale spaces, the George R. Brown Convention Center can transform for productions looking to create everything from a federal agency headquarters or emergency operations center to a Fortune 500 office or airport terminal.

And with Downtown Houston just outside its doors, productions have access to even more looks without traveling far.

What could your production turn it into?

Just down the road from Houston, Galveston gives productions an entirely different world to work with.

The island can stand in for a historic coastal town, turn-of-the-century neighborhood, seaside getaway or period setting, with beaches, waterfront views and distinctive architecture all within reach.

Landmarks like Bishop’s Palace and Moody Mansion add another layer of character, offering the ornate details and historic atmosphere that can instantly establish a time and place on screen.

Houston’s proximity to film-friendly partners like Galveston gives productions even more possibilities when scouting the region.

When a production chooses Houston, the impact reaches far beyond the set.

Film incentives help Houston compete for productions that bring jobs and direct spending into the region. Camera crews, makeup artists, caterers, hotels, transportation companies, construction teams and local businesses can all benefit when productions come to town.

A strong production pipeline also means more consistent opportunities for Houston’s creative workforce and greater potential for long-term industry investment.

Film incentives aren’t just an investment in productions. They’re an investment in local jobs, businesses and Houston’s creative economy.
