People’s Choice Association Union has formally filed a Master Transportation Grievance against Humble ISD involving ongoing concerns reported by transportation employees, including interference with employee representation rights, discriminatory treatment, retaliation concerns, obstruction of union activity, unequal enforcement practices, and failure to properly process employee payroll deduction authorizations.

The filing includes approximately 40 employee grievance forms involving transportation employees across multiple Humble ISD transportation locations. We have attached a small excerpt from the grievance filing below.

“Transportation employees seeking representation assistance regarding accommodation issues and workplace concerns have repeatedly encountered obstruction, refusal to engage with representatives, delays, and conduct designed to discourage employee participation in protected representation activity.”

Employees have the right to representation, fair treatment, and freedom from retaliation or intimidation for participating in protected employee association activity.

People’s Choice Association Union will continue pursuing all available administrative and legal remedies necessary to protect employees and ensure accountability.
