Scout Troop 609-Westview School Troop 609, Mustang District, Sam Houston Area Council- is chartered by The Westview School, a specialized private school for children on the autism spectrum.

Troop 609, sponsored by Westview School, is a specialized Boy Scout troop for Scouts with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders and their siblings, providing an inclusive environment to learn, grow, and thrive through Scouting adventures. Troop 609 specializes in Scouting for individuals with High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their siblings. We are also a resource to other troops with ASD scouts.
