Every outreach is more than handing out support materials. It is about seeing people, hearing their stories, understanding their struggles, and speaking words of hope into hearts that may have carried silent burdens for too long.

Sometimes, what a person needs most is not only help in their hands, but strength in their spirit. A reminder that they matter, they are not forgotten, and brighter days are still possible.

For every package we gave out, there was a deep joy and fulfillment that only comes from giving.

The Bible reminds us in Acts of the Apostles 20:35: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” And truly, there is a kind of grace that follows generosity — a quiet satisfaction that words can hardly explain.

Our prayer is that everyone who desires to give will be empowered to do so. May God provide the means, the opportunity, and the willing heart.

We want everyone to experience this joy, the joy that comes not from having, but from sharing.

Sometimes, when people think about outreach, they think about the tangible things — the food shared, the clothes given, the items distributed.

Yes, those things matter. They meet real, immediate needs.

But there is another gift that is just as powerful, and often overlooked.

Prayer.

At ODOS, we do not just give what can be seen.
We also give what can be felt.

In Houston, beyond the stuffed packages and shared supplies, we paused. We listened. We laid hands. We called names before God. We stood in agreement with people carrying burdens too heavy to explain in words.

Because prayer is not an afterthought to what we do.
It is the foundation of who we are.

We believe:
• A prayed-for heart leaves lighter.
• A covered life walks stronger.
• A whispered prayer can travel where our hands cannot reach.

Giving meets physical needs.
Prayer strengthens the soul.

And sometimes, the greatest gift you can offer someone is not what you put in their hands — but what you lift up on their behalf.

To our amazing volunteers and partner, TKAFoundation, we see you and deeply appreciate your commitment to service.

Together, we are proving that one dime can truly create one smile.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. The way we touched lives and put smiles on faces in Houston was such a delight to behold and we are sure our Heavenly Father was as well delighted.
