Greater Heights Super Neighborhood Council The Greater Heights Super Neighborhood Council is a coalition of community-based organizations which collaborate to benefit the Greater Heights area.

Attention District C residents!

Council Member Joe Panzarella needs to hear from you. Please complete the "Direct Your Dollars" survey and identify what improvement you want.

Eligible eligible projects include park improvements, sidewalk repairs, accessibility upgrades, tree planting, beautification projects, drainage improvements and other neighborhood infrastructure.

The survey will remain open through Sept. 7.

Survey results will be announced at the 100 Days Town Hall, scheduled for 10 a.m. Sept. 19 at the West Gray Multi-Service Center.

15th Street Bridge Over Turkey Gully

TxDOT has identified this old and rickety bridge as "high needs" and this week City Council approved a funding agreement between the city and TxDOT to replace or rehabilitate it.

Great news for Shady Acres Civic Club and Clark Pines Civic Association!

Lots of people walk and bike in the area and 15th has no sidewalks. We've asked Council Member Joe Panzarella to make sure the new bridge incorporates sidewalks.

Construction may not start until 2028. We will share updates as they become available!

Houston Parks Board

The funding will allow the Houston Parks and Recreation Department and the Houston Parks Board, under the Let’s Play Houston initiative, to design and provide construction for the improvements.

You may have heard about the woman who was attacked on White Oak Bayou in the Greater Inwood area.

Great work by Office of Constable Alan Rosen, Harris County Constable Precinct 1 who caught and arrested the man.

The woman escaped and flagged down a patrol who was already in the area for illegal motorcycles.
