You served with strength and courage, and you don’t have to carry the weight alone. Join us for the Female Warrior Group, a virtual peer-to-peer gathering where women veterans can connect, share, and support one another in a safe and welcoming space.

Today we recognize Columbus Day, a day that reminds us of the courage it takes to set out into uncharted waters.

For many of our Veterans, the road home after service can feel just as unknown. Navigating life with PTSD takes strength, faith, and people willing to walk alongside you.

At the PTSD Foundation of America, we believe no warrior should make that journey alone. Through faith-based, peer-to-peer support and our interim housing program, we stand shoulder to shoulder with Veterans finding their way forward.

We were honored to sit down with Elzie Jones, a Vietnam Veteran from Lampasas, TX, who served in the United States Marine Corps as an 0341 Mortarman. Joining him were our own Lance Hayes and Jason Conley, making this a true Marine-to-Marine conversation. Semper Fi!

Elzie’s journey to Camp Hope is a special one. His son came through Camp Hope first, and after returning home, he encouraged his dad to take the same step. Elzie arrived a couple of months ago, just one day before his 83rd birthday, proving it is never too late to find healing, brotherhood, and hope.

Elzie’s service was recognized with the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and National Defense Service Medal. Today, he is walking alongside fellow warriors in a faith-based, peer-to-peer community that understands the invisible wounds of war.

Pull into PTSD Foundation of America | Camp Hope, and you’ll notice something fresh! Our entrance has a brand-new, welcoming look, and we couldn’t be more excited to greet our Veterans, Families, and Visitors.

What hasn’t changed? Our mission. We’re still here every day, providing Faith, Hope, and Healing to those who bear the burden of Service & Sacrifice.

We are so grateful to Greystar for hosting the 6th Annual Greystar Lowcountry Open last month, benefiting the PTSD Foundation of America. On the beautiful grounds of the Daniel Island Club, friends, neighbors, and supporters came together for a day of pickleball and mini golf, followed by a wonderful cocktail reception.

Our Board Chairman Doug Brown, Houston Outreach GM Josh Eastburn, and Assistant GM Jake Saltzmann were honored to attend in person and share how the PTSD Foundation of America is helping Veterans find hope and a path forward.

Every serve, putt, and toast helps support Camp Hope, our faith-based, peer-to-peer interim housing program for veterans suffering from PTSD. Your generosity helps give our warriors a place to find hope and healing alongside peers who truly understand what they have been through.

To the Greystar team, the Daniel Island Club, and every player, sponsor, volunteer, and guest: thank you for standing with our Veterans. Six years strong, and we could not be more grateful for this partnership!

What an incredible day of golf, camaraderie, and support for Veterans and their families.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 5th Annual New York Golf Classic last month such a tremendous success. To our attendees, sponsors, volunteers, and donors, thank you for your generosity, your time, and your commitment to supporting those who have served our nation.

A special thank you to Jonathan Litt and Grateful Americans Charity for hosting this incredible event and for your continued dedication to our nation’s Veterans. Your partnership helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of Veterans and their families.

While in New York, Megan had the opportunity to speak with a group of women about her role with the Atlanta Chapter and share the impact of PTSD Foundation of America | Camp Hope not through the eyes of a Veteran, but as the spouse of a Camp Hope graduate.

Her perspective is a powerful reminder that the effects of PTSD reach far beyond the Veteran and can impact the entire family. At PTSD Foundation of America, we believe healing happens when Veterans and their loved ones are supported together.

Members of our Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta Outreach teams were also on hand, both on and off the course, to share more about our mission and how the generosity of those attending will directly impact the Veterans and families we serve.

Thank you for standing with us, investing in our mission, and helping bring hope and healing to Veterans and their families. We can't wait to see you all next year.
