🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT:👏 Congratulations to Alejandro Gonzalez of Bay City, TX, who recently completed the certification process and is our FIRST Tags of Texas certified WINNER!

Alejandro was fishing along the banks of the Colorado at the Nature Park in Matagorda when he caught a fish of a lifetime: “On my first day fishing, after a slow start, I left my pole to grab more bait. When I returned from my truck, my cork was gone! I set the hook and, as I reeled in the fish, I was shaking to see it was a tagged redfish.”

As a certified winner of the Tags of Texas Division, he’s won a 2026 22’ Tran Sport Boat 220 SVT CAT (Raised Center Console) with a 150HP Mercury motor and Coastline Trailer + an AFTCO Custom Sponsor Package for catching a Purple Tag!
