🚨 VANCOUVER, B.C., CANADA TEMPORARY FOSTER NEEDED 🚨

We are urgently looking for a foster home for Goose until September 12th transport after an unexpected family emergency has made it necessary for his adopter to rehome him immediately and unexpectedly to us. Transport can be arranged to the foster home.

Goose was adopted from Houston, Texas and transported to Vancouver, and we are determined to make sure this sweet boy is safe and cared for while we figure out the best next step.

🐾 GOOSE
• 2 years old
• Neutered
• Up to date on vaccines
• 47 lbs
• Cattle Dog/Lab mix
• Has received training from a certified trainer
• Crate trained
• Leash trained
• House trained
• Active and enjoys walks
• Dog friendly
• Loves to play
• We can provide his food, crate, toys, chews, leash- plus anything else a foster would require

We are currently looking for two possible solutions:

🏡 A foster home in the Vancouver area who can keep Goose safely until September 12, when our transport van will be able to bring him back to Houston.

🇨🇦 OR, an adopter in the Vancouver area who would be the right permanent home for Goose.

Goose is an active, social boy who loves to play and enjoys being around other dogs. He has already made the long journey from Houston to Vancouver, and we desperately want to avoid putting him through another stressful transition without a safe place lined up.

💗 Meet Lovey 💗
Lovey spent most of her life tied to a tree, enduring the Texas heat, cold, and rain while having litter after litter. Now, she’s finally safe and getting the second chance she has always deserved.
Despite everything she’s been through, Lovey is heartworm negative and has been gaining the weight she needed. Now she’s healthy and ready to find her forever home!
Lovey is a sweet, playful girl who is dog-friendly, but she doesn’t quite realize how strong she is and can play a little rough. Because of her enthusiastic play style, we’d recommend a home where she’s the only dog.
After years of knowing only a chain, it’s finally Lovey’s turn to know what it’s like to be someone’s beloved family member. ❤️

💔 Archie Was Left Behind... But We’re Hoping His Story Has a Happy Ending. 💔

When Archie’s family moved away, they left him behind.
Confused but incredibly sweet, Archie started walking alongside neighbors as they took their own dogs for walks, just looking for companionship. The neighbors all came together to make sure he had food, love, and people looking out for him. Worried about his safety, they reached out to us for help.
Today, Archie is safe in a temporary foster home, but he can’t stay there forever.
Archie is:

🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Up to date on vaccinations
🐾 Ready to start his next chapter
Now all he needs is someone willing to give him the love and security he should have had all along. Whether it’s a forever family or a temporary foster, Archie deserves a place where he’ll never have to wonder if he’s wanted again.

🇺🇸🎆 Before you head out to celebrate, please think of your pets. 🐾

For many of us, fireworks are a fun tradition. For our dogs, they can be one of the most frightening nights of the year.

Every Independence Day, countless dogs panic, jump fences, slip out of doors, or break free from leashes while trying to escape the loud noises. Sadly, many never find their way back home. Shelters and rescues become overwhelmed with lost pets, and families spend the holiday desperately searching for their beloved companions.

Please don’t let your pet become one of them.

❤️ Keep your dogs inside before the fireworks begin.
🏡 Make sure doors, windows, and gates are secure.
🏷️ Check that their ID tags are current and their microchip information is up to date.
🦴 Give them a quiet, safe place where they can feel comfortable, and consider playing music or keeping the TV on to help drown out the noise.

A few simple precautions can save a life and spare a family from heartbreak.

💔 Urgent Foster & Donation Plea 💔

We recently came across a heartbreaking video of a man asking for help for his two beloved dogs.
The man is battling cancer and COPD, and the reality of his declining health and overwhelming medical expenses has made it impossible for him to continue caring for them. Faced with an unimaginable decision, he reached out for help, hoping someone would step in for the dogs he loves so much.
Last week, we welcomed these two sweet dogs into our program.
This was not a choice made lightly. It is clear they were cherished members of his family, and surrendering them has been heartbreaking for everyone involved.
Now, we need your help.
🐾 We are urgently seeking foster homes for these two dogs so they can experience comfort, stability, and love while we work toward finding them permanent homes.
🐾 We are also asking for donations to help cover veterinary care, food, supplies, and other expenses as they begin this new journey with us.
Every foster, donation, and share makes a difference.
If you can open your home to a dog in need, please contact us. If you can donate, we would be incredibly grateful. And if you’re unable to do either, sharing this post helps us reach the people who can.
Together, we can help these dogs through this transition and give their owner peace of mind knowing they are safe, cared for, and loved.

Does anyone know what breed of dog this is? 🤔🐴

We’re a dog rescue… but sometimes our rescue doesn’t stick to species.

This handsome guy came to us as an owner surrender from someone who truly cared, but could no longer afford to give him the care he deserves.

The good news? He’s already had his hooves trimmed and has a vet check-up scheduled, so he’s on the right track and getting exactly what he needs.

We may be a little out of our usual lane, but at the end of the day, rescue is rescue. Whether they bark or neigh, they all deserve safety, care, and a second chance.

We are fortunate to have a foster spot set up for him to have a ton of space, and an experienced horse caretaker to make sure he is getting the best care possible!

Woody had his recheck appointment, and he did great! 🐾❤️
This sweet boy has been through so much, and now we’re hoping for a smooth recovery, continued healing, and many happy, thriving years ahead for Woody.
