The Nearly New volunteers presented the 2026 first quarter donation of $12,882 to Family Promise of Clear Creek. This is an organization that strives to end the cycle of recurrent homelessness. They provide counseling, financial education and life skills training, and more, as well as, food, shelter or transportation to individuals and families.

The Nearly New presented the last quarterly donation of $13,393 to our 2025 charity, Bay Area Pet Adoptions. The Nearly New Volunteers were excited to support the no-kill animal shelter with a total donation of $52,432, our highest donation yet. Stop in the shelter and ask to see what projects have been accomplished with these monies - warning, you may not be able to walk out without adopting a new loving pet. We could not support our community without our dedicated donors and customers. Thanks to all.

The Nearly New Shop shared our first quarter profits of $11,612 with this year’s chosen charity, Bay Area Pet Adoptions. Our funds will help remodel their facility’s puppy kennels area, which houses dozens of puppies as they await their new homes. Bay Area Pet Adoptions is a non-profit, no-Kill shelter, pet rescue and adoption organization that relies on donations from the public to house, feed and medically care for the dogs and cats taken into their adoption program. Thank you to all of our volunteers, shoppers and donators for your community support of the Nearly New.
