Is good to praise God.

“O that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!" (Psalm 107:8)

There are hundreds of reasons why praising God is very important. The scripture showed us many reasons and important of praise to God. In psalm 92:1 the Bible says, “It is good to praise the Lord. God Most High, it is good to praise your name. It is good to sing about your love in the morning and about your faithfulness at night.” Meaning, it is a good thing to praise God. Honestly, if we’re to consider all the reason why we should praise God, it will be impossible. No wonder David asked in Psalm 116:12, he said, “What shall I render unto the LORD For all his benefits toward me?” So the only tangible thing we can offer to God for all His blessings, mercies, goodness, kindness and faithfulness is our constant praise and worship to His name.

“Praise the Lord, O my soul! With all that is within me, praise his holy name! Praise the Lord, O my soul! Do not forget all his kind deeds! He is the one who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who delivers your life from the Pit, who crowns you with his loyal love and compassion, who satisfies your life with good things, so your youth is renewed like an eagle’s.”

There are lots and lots of things that we should thank God about. Praise is a vital part of a life surrendered to God. Praising God should not be an option to believers, rather It should be part of us. Remember, things to praise God for are innumerable. Living a life of praise is not only the most enjoyable way to live, but it’s also one of the most powerful ways to change your life. Praise affects you positively, it affects the devil negatively and it blesses God to unleash His blessings on you. It touches everything and every part of your life. Likewise, a lack of praise affects you in a negative way, turns the devil loose in your life, and doesn’t bless God. So practice praising God and expect His goodness in Jesus name, Amen!

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. —Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust. It can't be half-hearted. Either it is a full trust or it is clouded with suspicion and doubt. So, as we face the everyday challenges of life, or as we look for answers to deep and difficult problems, let's put our full trust in the LORD. Let's ask for his wisdom and guidance as we make our choices. Let's give him praise for the good in our life and seek his blessing for the days ahead. Why? Because he longs to bless us with life, both now, and forevermore.

O LORD, my Lord, I place my trust in you. Please guide my steps as I seek to bring you glory. Help me in the decisions I face. Give me discernment as I seek to influence others and to share your grace with them. Give me the right words to say so that I can have a redemptive influence on my family, with my friends, and among my co-workers. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
