***TAILGATE TIME CHANGE*** We just saw from UH Athletics that parking lots will not be open until 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, so we are adjusting our Tailgate time schedule. Set-up will be from 11-00-12:00 and we will begin serving at noon. We will still start closing down the tailgate at 2:00 in order for everyone to be able to be in the stadium for Senior Recognition and Pregame.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow and don't forget to bring your donations for the Cougar Cupboard!! GO COOGS!!!

📣 Special Announcement for this weekend’s Spirit of Houston Alumni Tailgate!

This year, we're excited to support our UH community in a meaningful way.

During the Spirit of Houston Alumni Tailgate, we will be collecting food donations for the Cougar Cupboard, a campus resource that provides free groceries to UH students in need.

🙏 Please consider bringing an item or two to donate. Every contribution helps support students facing food insecurity.

Let’s show what the Spirit of Houston is all about—community, compassion, and Cougar pride.

Calling all Spirit of Houston Alumni, Friends, Parents and every member who ever helped bring the energy to game day! It’s time to reunite, reconnect, and celebrate the sound and spirit that made us who we are.

This Saturday, your Houston Cougars will take on the West Virginia Mountaneers at 11:00 am. The Spirit of Houston Alumni will be tailgating from 8:30-10:00. Please come join us for a breakfast tailgate. We will be serving some delicious breakfast tacos, mimosas, donuts and a variety of juice and beverages.
Entrance fee is $10 a person (children 10 and under are free) unless you have paid to be a sponsor.

Who needs tickets to the homecoming game? Time is running out to donate and get a chance to win 4 tickets to the UH vs Arizona game and passes to the Spirit of Houston Tailgate. The winning ticket will be drawn on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

The Spirit of Houston Alumni Organization is offering an opportunity for donors to receive 4 tickets to the UH vs. Arizona Homecoming game on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 am. The selected recipient will also receive 4 passes to the Spirit of Houston Tailgate area. All donations go directly to support the students in the Spirit of Houston.
A $5 donation provides 1 entry.
A $20 donation provides 5 entries.
Tickets are located in Section 133, Row 19, Seats 5–8.
Entries will close, and the recipient will be drawn, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

Tomorrow is the big game and it will be crazy before the game. Beat the crowds and come on out early for the SOH Alumni tailgate for all SOH alumni and parents located just outside of the band complex. The tailgate will be from 2:00 – 5:00. We will be serving Raising Cane's chicken fingers, snacks, and a variety of beverages.
