A food truck is providing hamburgers & hot dogs for the volunteers and flooded residents working on flood remediation today at 2:30PM - need a couple more volunteers to assist with assembling and passing out food in the neighborhood. If you can help, contact GIP President Kevin Bell - 281-536-0393. Text is ideal. Supplies needed: plastic gloves, 2 propane tanks (the kind you would hook up to a barbecue grill), and a willing spirit!

We have been contacted by community members and their loved ones about rescuing some members in our community. We are not able to perform any rescue operations, BUT we are a community resource that will work tirelessly to connect you with neighbors that can help you find a safe, dry place to stay. We realize many emergency lines are busy and we do not have official rescue groups in our area at this time (that we know of). Please stay safe and if you have a place to host neighbors, a boat or a high truck then please comment here!!! Thank you!
