Cy-Fair Helping Hands offers hope to the homeless and hungry. Our Community Food Pantry is serving all zip codes in the CFISD zones on Mondays, Thursdays, and the 1st/3rd Saturdays of each month. Emergency shelter and casework provided to qualifying homeless families with children. Homeless prevention programs include vocational scholarships at Lonestar College. Homeless Teen Initiatives serve homeless students in partnership with social workers and counselors in the school district, covering quick meals, snacks, other necessities, and extracurricular program costs. Outreach teams visit weekly with our friends living on the street, establishing relationships, and assessing needs. Other services include health checks, document assistance, county benefit application assistance, referrals/coordination into rehabs & shelters, showers, worship, fellowship, hot meals, and more. CFHH helps children in CFISD with backpacks and school supplies. Holiday programs include Thanksgiving Blessings Boxes and a Christmas event. We are funded solely by individual donations, local churches, and businesses.

The Festival of Trees is more than one night. It is an evening of holiday magic, community, and giving back that impacts the Cy-Fair community all year long. 🎄✨

Join us on November 7 for a festive evening featuring beautifully decorated trees and wreaths, dinner and dessert, live music, dancing, auction items, cocktails and mocktails, and our popular w**e and wh***ey pulls.

There are several ways to be part of it:

🎟️ Attend and enjoy a memorable night out with friends, family, or coworkers while supporting a local cause.

🎄 Decorate a tree or wreath with coworkers, friends, family, or your organization and help create the festive atmosphere that makes the Festival of Trees so special.

🤝 Partner with us as an event sponsor and help support one of Cy-Fair Helping Hands’ signature community fundraisers.

🎁 Donate an auction item and help make the evening even more exciting for our guests.

Every ticket, sponsorship, decorated tree, wreath, and donated item helps support Cy-Fair Helping Hands and our year round work serving individuals and families in our community who are experiencing hunger and homelessness.

For many of us, Thanksgiving means gathering around a table, sharing favorite dishes, laughing with family, and enjoying traditions we look forward to all year.

But for many of our neighbors in Cy-Fair, the holiday season can look very different.

Some families are choosing between groceries and other basic needs. Some are facing Thanksgiving without the comfort of a full meal, the familiar foods that make the day feel special, or even the certainty of what will be on the table.

That is why our Thanksgiving Food Drive matters so much.

This year, we are collecting donations to fill Thanksgiving Blessing Boxes for local families in need. Each box will be packed with the food and holiday essentials that help make a Thanksgiving meal possible.

We are collecting Thanksgiving food items through November 12.

If you are able to help, please choose one way to give today:

Shop our Thanksgiving Wishlist and have the items shipped to us directly.

Bring a donation directly to us:

Help us fill the shelves, fill the boxes, and most importantly, help us fill more Thanksgiving tables across Cy-Fair this year.

When we say great minds think alike, we’re talking about two wonderful community churches, Lakewood Methodist Church and Cypress Methodist Church! ❤️

With hearts full of compassion for our homeless neighbors, both congregations gathered an impressive number of jeans for our friends on the street and delivered them to Cy-Fair Helping Hands on Monday! 👖

Something as simple as a pair of jeans can bring comfort, dignity, and a reminder that someone cares. Sadly, that kindness is not always extended to those experiencing homelessness, which makes this generous act even more meaningful.

We are so grateful for these two congregations who put their faith into action and remind our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and loved. What a beautiful example of God’s love at work in our community!

**Thank you, Lakewood Methodist Church and Cypress Methodist Church, for sharing your hearts and your "Helping Hands!" ** 🙏💙

The future of Cy-Fair is looking bright! 🌟

The Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2026 Economic Forum Thursday at the Berry Center, bringing together community leaders and business professionals for an exciting look at the growth and future of our area.

Keynote speakers Juan Rodriguez, Senior Vice President & Chief Venue Officer of Houston Texans, and Alex Hancock, National Sales & Leasing for Howard Hughes Communities, shared updates on the Toro District and their vision for the future of our community.

A very special THANK YOU to Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital, Event Underwriter, for graciously inviting Cy-Fair Helping Hands and fellow community nonprofits to take a seat at their table for the Economic Forum and luncheon. We appreciate your thoughtfulness and commitment to including nonprofit voices in these important community conversations!

This was a great opportunity to connect, learn, and look ahead to the exciting possibilities for Cy-Fair. We are grateful to be part of a community where businesses, organizations, and nonprofits come together to make a difference! 💙
