Looking for a meaningful way to support struggling families in our community?

Cy-Fair Helping Hands' Back to School Supply Drive is already underway, and we need your help! We invite businesses, churches, civic groups, and organizations to partner with us by collecting new backpacks (cloth and clear) and school supplies for Cypress-Fairbanks ISD students in need.

Our most-needed school supply items include:
📚 Crayola Crayons
🖍️ Crayola Markers (broad line and fine line)
📓 Spiral Notebooks
📔 Composition Notebooks
📁 Pocket Folders with Brads
✂️ Construction Paper

Together, we can help ensure local students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

Because of your kindness and compassion, children experiencing food insecurity will have meals on their tables and hope in their hearts. Your support is making a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors who need it most.

Monique, our Senior Director of Homeless Services, is representing CFHH today at the 4th Annual Sheldon Theragood’s Birthday Outreach Festival for the Unhoused. This is the fourth year Houston police officer Sheldon Theragood has held an outreach event for unhoused individuals living across the Houston area, as part of his non-profit Theragood Deeds. This is a day for giving back, where homeless people can get something to eat and drink, get a haircut, hygiene items, and clothing, and enjoy music and games and fellowship! As Sheldon says, "Let’s continue impacting the world one good deed at a time!"

Imagine walking into your new apartment and realizing you are starting completely from scratch. No sheets for the beds, no pots to cook a warm meal, no towels, and no silverware.
