⚽Houston is feeling the energy of the DRC this week.
This morning, our Head of Marketing Akinyi Adoyo, had the privilege of joining a breakfast roundtable hosted by the Kaba Consortium and attended by leaders, supporters, and members of Texas’ vibrant Congolese community.
A special thank you to Ephimeral Mobile Embassy of Sports, Tourism & Culture for creating a space where culture, connection, and possibility could meet.
Later, at the watch party, the room came alive. The colors. The music. The conversations. The unwavering pride. There is something powerful about the way sports bring people together across generations, professions, languages, and borders.
As we listen and connect with community members, we are reminded that development begins with relationships. Before partnerships. Before projects. Before policy. People gather around a shared dream.
At Medical Bridges, we have been honored to support healthcare efforts in the Democratic Republic of Congo and today offered another reminder of the incredible opportunities that emerge when communities, institutions, and partners come together around a common purpose.
As the Leopards take the field in Houston, we celebrate not only the team, but the culture, resilience, and spirit they represent.
To the Congolese community: we wish you a match filled with courage, excellence, and joy.
Go Leopards!
