Our Student Fellows represent the next generation of innovators and advocates for the livestock industry. Kaslyn Moczygemba, current agricultural media and communication major, was a media intern.

The Texas A&M Department of Animal Science was well represented at the 2025 International Livestock Congress - USA. Faculty members including Dr. Clay Mathis, Dr. Russell Cross, Dr. Penny Riggs, Dr. Chris Skaggs, and students showcased their expertise, contributed to key discussions, and reinforced our role as global leaders in animal science.

The Department of Animal Science also had two students, Musah Muntari and Michael Rezendes, receive the International Stockman Education Foundation Travel Fellowship, a highly selective and prestigious opportunity!
