Cedar Bayou Watershed Partnership

Cedar Bayou Watershed Partnership A locally-lead partnership to improve and protect water quality in the Cedar Bayou Watershed (http://
(1)

The Cedar Bayou Watershed is the area of land that drains (literally "sheds") water into Cedar Bayou and its tributaries. Cedar Bayou forms much of the boundary between eastern Harris County, and western Chambers and Liberty Counties. The Cedar Bayou watershed originates in agricultural and rural areas west of Dayton, and extends down to the Galveston Bay, including part of eastern Baytown. To imp

rove and protect the water quality in this watershed, local partners are beginning the development of a Watershed Protection Plan (WPP). The WPP is a voluntary effort that will evaluate water quality issues and target solutions to address them.
