Houston Corks and Forks 2019

Cancer affects 1.7 million patients and their loved ones each year. To help combat this harrowing disease, the American Cancer Society funds and conducts research, shares expert information, supports patients, and spreads the word about prevention. One way you can help the American Cancer Society achieve their goal of crushing cancer is by supporting Houston Corks and Forks. Corks and Forks will help support the American Cancer Society’s efforts, along with The Richard M. Schulze Family American Cancer Society Hope Lodge Houston–a 64 suite lodge where patients and their families can stay for free while receiving treatment.

The American Cancer Society presents the 4th Annual Houston Corks and Forks event.

Corks and Forks will be held on October 3rd, 2019. The event promises to be an elegant evening and will honor cancer survivors Shelby Hodge, Shafik Rifaat, as well as VICTORY Houston, a volunteer branch of the American Cancer Society.

This year, Corks and Forks will take place at the Ballroom at Bayou Place in Downtown Houston. Hosted by emcee Deborah Duncan, and set to the live musical stylings of David Caceres, Corks and Forks promises to be the foodie event of the year. The event will feature a culinary competition between Houston’s top restaurants, including Le Colonial, The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation, Amalfi, Frank’s Americana Revival, Uchi, Toulouse, Ristorante Cavour, Ouzo Bay, Steak 48 and more.
