Our passion is to serve families and children in need thereby strengthening the communities around us.

What is The Twelve Days of Christmas? The Twelve Days of Christmas is a non-profit organization comprised of women who want to share our blessings year-round. How do you raise money to help families? Fundraising events are organized by and paid for by our members. In the past we’ve hosted teas, brunches, fashion shows, w**e tastings and galas to raise money for our families. We invite our friends, family and community stakeholders to join us at our “Parties with a Purpose”. How much of my donation will go towards the families?

What makes the Twelve Days of Christmas different? It’s the personal touch. Because we have no overhead or administrative costs, members of the organization are involved in every detail to give to families in need. Personal connections are made as families are selected and serviced throughout the year.

Our “Christmas In July” (CIJ) event is fast approaching & our committee has been working diligently to host our best summer event yet.

Our CIJ is an annual affair where children & families gather for fun, fellowship, food & games & leave with their school supplies, uniforms, shoes & backpacks. It’s our way to make sure they are ready for “Back to School”. 📚✏️🎒

We are so sad to say good-bye to our beautiful Twelve Days of Christmas sister, Cynthia Hearn Roy. She shined in everything she did and created a lasting legacy that we will always honor and cherish. Voted Oakland Chapter’s Member of the Year 2023, Cynthia made a lasting impression on the families she served and the sisterly friendships she cultivated. Sending so much love to our Twelve Days Oakland Chapter and prayers of comfort to her lovely family. She will truly be missed and always remembered.

May our dear Cynthia rest forever in heavenly power and peace. 💔🙏🏼❤️🕊️

Juneteenth honors the enduring spirit of freedom and the promise of a more just future. Celebrated on June 19th, it commemorates the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas were informed of their emancipation. As we celebrate Juneteenth, we recognize the resilience and contributions of generations who helped shape our nation while reflecting on the ongoing pursuit of equality, unity and opportunity for all.

Founded in 1999 by Gayla and Donya Gardner in Houston, TX, we are 27 years and still going strong.

Across nine local chapters, our mission is to ensure the magic of the holidays doesn’t end when the decorations come down.

What started as a vision has grown into a national organization with deep local impact, dedicated to inspiring young girls and boys.

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary of incorporation, we aren’t just looking back at how far we’ve come—we’re looking forward to how much further we can go.
