🛍️✨ Hartville MarketPlace & Lunch Bus Trip – $79 per person ✨🛍️
Founded in 1939, Hartville MarketPlace & Flea Market has grown into a one-of-a-kind shopping destination. The indoor market features over 100 unique shops offering food, fashion, crafts, antiques, home décor, and more 🕯️👗🧵—along with a fully stocked food court serving everything from gourmet treats to classic favorites like burgers and fries. Outside, you’ll explore one of Ohio’s largest open-air flea markets.

We’ll enjoy lunch at the famous Hartville Kitchen Restaurant, where you’ll choose your entrée from a specially presented menu. Each meal includes two sides, a slice of pie or cake 🥧🍰, and a beverage—all while enjoying the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goods from the in-house bakery next door. 🍞☕

After lunch, take time to visit Hartville Hardware, proudly known as America’s Largest Hardware Store 🔨🇺🇸. The Chartiers Township Volunteer Fire Department is excited to invite the community out for our first-ever Food Truck Fridays this summer! Join us every Friday from June 5 through July 31 for great food, family fun, and community fellowship.

We’re kicking things off on Friday, June 5 with a COMMUNITY BONFIRE to start the summer right! Bring your chairs, bring your friends, and come hungry because we’ll have an amazing lineup of food trucks joining us for opening night:

Scam Alert.
A scam that has been brought to our attention:
Individual(s) posing as vendors at the Washington County Fair are offering Vendor opportunities for the upcoming Washington County Fair. They are asking for money to be transferred to them by electronic means, this is currently being done by a fraudulent email. The Washington County Fair has a formal application process which is not online, by email, or phone. If you have sent money to any persons impersonating vendors, please contact your bank and local police.

Each month, our township 501(c)(3), Friends of Chartiers Twp Community Parks, hosts a Charity Bingo! This special event serves as a dual fundraiser benefiting both the non-profit and a different Chartiers Township-affiliated partner organization each month. The partner group provides basket raffle donations and volunteers during bingo, and they are typically able to raise several thousand dollars for their cause.

Tonight’s Charity Partner is our local Meals on Wheels program ❤️ If you’re available, come out and support them tonight at the Community Center!

🚪 Doors open at 5:00 PM
⏰ We strongly suggest arriving as close to 5:00 PM as possible, as there will be a line.

🚗 Please note: the Community Center parking lot WILL fill up. Additional parking is available at Arnold Park — just a short walk down the sidewalk to the Community Center. Accessible from W Pike St.

Again this year, communities across the United States, including Chartiers Township, recognize National Police Week—May 10-16 2026 to honor and remember those law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as the family members, friends and fellow officers they left behind.

At tonight's Board of Supervisors' Meeting, the Board will adopt a Proclamation declaring May 10th-16th National Police Week in Chartiers Township. Please join us in remembering all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect and serve this Police Week. See less

West Penn Power Planned Power Outage for portions of Chartiers Township on Tuesday, May 12, 2026:

West Penn Power has advised of a Planned Power Outage on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for portions of Henderson Avenue, Hickory Ridge Road, Gretna Road and Arden Road to perform system maintenance. In the event of inclement weather, the planned outage will be rescheduled for Wednesday, May 13th. If you have any questions, please call: 800-686-0021.
