Houston Trial Lawyers Association Amendment VII, US Constitution Founded in 1973, HTLA welcomes attorneys dedicated to the principles of justice and fairness.

"The right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law." The Houston Trial Lawyers Association (HTLA) is comprised of 1300 trial attorneys who strive to give individuals a voice in the legal system. HTLA is committed to maintaining a civil justice system that protects all Texans and making Houston a safer place to live and work. In a constantly changing regulatory, legislative, and political world, HTLA employs the full power of our collective wisdom, experience, and expertise to enhance and support our members’ practices. Our large and varied membership comes from all corners of the greater Houston area and includes big firm lawyers, boutique specialists, and solo practitioners. If you are a licensed attorney who represents individuals who were injured or damaged by others, we want to hear from you!
