The Teo Chew Association’s Unicorn, Dragon, and Lion Dance Team, based in the heart of Houston’s Chinatown, is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and protecting the traditional arts of lion dance, dragon dance, and Chinese martial arts. Comprising passionate and skilled performers, the team trains in various styles of martial arts while also studying the rich history and cultural significance behind these ancient traditions. Performances honor a heritage that symbolizes strength, unity, and prosperity, bringing good luck and positive energy to the surrounding communities.
